Our Story

Owner's Jodi Bessell and Chris Scott have been best friends for more than 20 years. They had a vision of combining a barbering service with a sports lounge feel, which also offered live music, sports, pool, and darts facilities.. 

Chris' background is in hair barbering and hairdressing where he has worked in and owned barbershops and salons throughout the south west and as far afield as Brighton. Working at Glastonbury festival and then teaching the up and coming talent at Brunel college, Chris has a real eye for hair and the latest trends.

Jodi comes from a building background and then worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, managing front and back of house positions.

With their mutual love for live music,  they decided to bring the two businesses together and create a unique venue. 

BessellScotts Barbering Lounge was then born.
